August 31, 2025Aug 31 comment_1024678 Both are great choices! "Ponderosa Matador" always makes me laugh. Each of the boys get their turns at courting and there's plenty of hijinks. "Joe Cartwright, Detective" is in the vein of "Bank Run." Ida Lupino's guest star role in "The Saga of Annie O'Toole" makes it a gem of the first season, with some stellar one liners ("We're the only stabilizing force in the country!" *throwing punches*). August 31, 2025Aug 31 comment_1024687 I especially enjoy The Gunmen (Hoss and Joe’s reactions to the crazy mistaken identity situation are wonderful) and Old Sheba (all four Cartwrights get very funny moments and, of course, there’s an elephant!) Report
August 31, 2025Aug 31 comment_1024689 I agree with everyone of those. Any Hoss and Joe episode you're in for a good time, lol. Although if you're an Adam fan, I'd recommend Woman of Fire or A Knight to Remember. It gave Pernell a chance to show his comedic skills. Those are fun episodes and very funny. Report
September 1, 2025Sep 1 comment_1024708 I would choose all of these as well. What about Enter Mark Twain - Adam 'explaining' to Sam about a retraction and his confusion over the gender of the Ponderosa Wildman - Hop Sing: Him no boy, Him girl! Calamity over the Comstock - gotta love Stephanie Powers!!! Report
