I was watching Clarissa this morning (Season 8, episode 32) and caught a rare rebuke of someone other than Joe putting his foot on the table! I laughed because, as we know, it's such an infrequent thing that anyone besides poor Joe gets told off. Naturally, I had to rush over here and post about it You can even see Ben gesturing at Hoss's foot in the scene and a somewhat weary expression ("those boys and their feet!"). Too fun.

 

 

 

Joe is probably relieved that for once he’s not in trouble.

Great catch. I always thought Hoss and Adam were exempt from correction about the feet. Poor Hoss. 

And Joe's thinking, "Not me this time, my feet are ON the floor!"

I was watching while hemming some jeans this morning and was startled to hear it. I thought I couldn't possibly have heard that right, they never get called out for that! I rewound it and sure enough, Hoss was told off  Made my whole day honestly.

I don’t think Ben ever corrected Adam when he put his feet on the table. Adam sometimes put his butt on the table too.

I just wish they’d take off the stinky boots in the house and put on some slippers or comfy socks. Then Pa wouldn’t yell.  They seem to even wear them to bed !

He was forced into it. The Maestro needed a stage! Obviously.  I'd love to see someone try to tell Pa to get his feet off the table.

I never noticed that before! Probably because it's been a while since I've seen the Clarissa episode. Ben being told to take his feet off the table would be a hoot. I'd be laughing so hard.
