From Andy Klyde:

Happy BONANZA Day!

It's been 64 years since BONANZA premiered on NBC in the United States (and the rest of the world shortly thereafter). I hope folks can celebrate by sharing thoughts, watching episodes -- in the newly released, totally remastered DVD collection -- and also liking and commenting on the official BONANZA Facebook page. 373,000 followers, and counting!

There should be an official birthday post there later today, if it's not there already. Here's a link:

Best BONANZA Wishes,
Andy Klyde

So happy Bonanza is part of our history.  The show changed us all in many ways.  How many of us changed our life courses based on subjects the Cartwright's tackled.  I learned sign language from Silent Thunder and studied it in-dept in my college years.  Bonanza brought us all together.  I'd have to say more than half of my friends are Bonanza fans.  They make the best friends.    We've shared in each others lives during happy times and when tragedy struck.  I'm very glad there was Bonanza.
